If you’ve landed here, chances are your baby is struggling with reflux, spit-up, or uncomfortable sleep. We’ve been there—three times, actually—and we want to share what worked for us when nothing else did.
With our third child, we cured his reflux in just 7 days using a product we built out of pure necessity: the Kribelevate Wedge Pillow.
The Backstory: Makeshift Fixes and a Promise to Ourselves 🛏️
When our first baby had frequent colds and nighttime coughing, we noticed he did better when slightly elevated. We didn’t have a proper baby wedge at the time, so we improvised with towels and bits of foam—anything to create a gentle incline.
Some nights it helped. Others were a frustrating mess.
We saw the potential but knew there had to be a better, safer solution. We promised ourselves: One day, we’ll create the perfect baby wedge.
Fast Forward to Baby #3: The Reflux That Changed Everything
Our second child didn’t struggle with reflux or intense congestion, so the wedge project stayed on the back burner.
Then our third baby arrived—and suddenly we were dealing with constant spit-up, visible discomfort after feedings, and restless nights. Laying flat just didn’t work.
We tried everything: smaller feeds, more burping, holding upright... nothing truly solved it.
That was the moment we said: it’s time.
Creating the Wedge We Always Needed 👶
We got to work—consulting pediatricians, testing foam types, experimenting with angles. We built and tested the first Kribelevate Wedge right at home, using our own baby as the true test case.
We landed on a pediatrician-approved 7° incline—gentle enough to be sleep-safe, but effective enough to ease reflux. It's supported by high-density, non-toxic foam and wrapped in GOTS-certified organic cotton.
We made two versions:
-
A Bassinet Wedge for daytime use in our supervised setup
-
A Crib Wedge that fits perfectly under a full crib mattress at night
How We Used It: A Real-Life 7-Day Turnaround ✨
We started immediately:
-
After nursing, we’d lay him on the Bassinet Wedge during the day while supervised, allowing gravity to do its work without the discomfort of being flat
-
At night, we used the Crib Wedge under his mattress to gently elevate his upper body while he slept
By the end of the first day, there was less spit-up.
By day three, the reflux was noticeably reduced.
And by day seven, our baby was sleeping longer—with virtually no spit-up or reflux symptoms at all.
Why the Kribelevate Wedge Works
The secret is in the pediatrician-recommended 7° angle—a proven position to reduce acid reflux while keeping baby comfortably aligned and safe for sleep.
Unlike many wedges on the market, we made ours:
-
Wider and longer, so baby stays supported even when they shift
-
Built from firm, medical-grade foam that holds its shape
-
Wrapped in organic cotton, safe for even the most sensitive skin 🌿
This isn’t just a wedge—it’s the one we always wished we had as first-time parents.
Why We Had to Share This ❤️
We created the Kribelevate Wedge because we needed it. And once we saw how much it helped our own children, we knew it could help others too.
